Outpatient Psychotherapy
Supporting Children, Adolescents, Adults & Families
Individual Therapy
I provide in person or virtual outpatient individual psychotherapy for clients located in Rhode Island through Palmaccio Therapy: 60 Bayspring Ave, Suite B2, Barrington, RI 02806.
Therapy is not one-size-fits-all. My integrative approach draws from evidence-based modalities to ensure treatment is individualized, structured, and goal-oriented. I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), with a strong emphasis on skill-building, emotional regulation, and collaborative problem-solving.
I specialize in the treatment of anxiety and depressive disorders, with additional expertise in ADHD management and support through life transitions. While much of my work focuses on children, adolescents, and young adults, I provide therapy across the lifespan.
My practice is grounded in culturally responsive, equitable, and inclusive care. I am committed to creating a therapeutic space that is respectful, collaborative, and tailored to each individual’s unique experiences and goals.

Therapeutic Modalities
Evidence-Based Approaches Tailored to Your Needs
I use an integrative approach, blending evidence-based modalities to meet each client where they are. Therapy is not one-size-fits-all; the tools and strategies I use are chosen to support your goals, build practical skills, and promote lasting change.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) – Helps identify patterns of thinking and behavior that contribute to stress, anxiety, or depression, and develop actionable coping strategies.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) – Focuses on emotion regulation, mindfulness, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness skills.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) – Supports clients in accepting difficult thoughts and emotions while committing to meaningful actions aligned with their values.
Trauma-Informed Care – Provides support that recognizes and responds to the impact of trauma on mental health and wellbeing.
Mindfulness-Based Interventions – Practices that cultivate present-moment awareness, reduce stress, and improve emotional regulation.
Play Therapy – Uses structured play to help children express emotions, process experiences, and develop problem-solving skills in a safe environment.
Art Therapy – Encourages creative expression as a way to explore feelings, reduce stress, and foster personal insight and healing.
Family Systems Approach – Explores patterns within families and relationships to support communication, understanding, and healthier dynamics.
Psychoeducation – Provides clients with knowledge about mental health conditions, coping strategies, and skill-building tools.
Neurodevelopmental Support – Specialized approaches for individuals with ADHD, autism spectrum conditions, or other neurodevelopmental differences.
Using CBT, DBT, ACT, play therapy, art therapy, and other evidence-based approaches, I provide individualized therapy for children, adolescents, adults, and families in Rhode Island through Palmaccio Therapy.
